Arboretum Collections
The central theme of our mission, the Arboretum's two dozen plant and tree collections provide endless opportunity for education, habitat, and aesthetic pleasure. These collections include:
- Urban & Community Forestry Demonstration Area
- Conifer Collection
- Governors Grove
- Chestnut Collection
- DAR Historical Gardens
- Lilac Collection
- Hosta Garden
- Native Plant Garden
Maps are available at the Arboretum and visitors are encouraged to pick one up when visiting.
Volunteers are needed to help conduct educational programs, cultivate trees and gardens and maintain trails. Individuals, as well as community and civic groups, are welcomed. Contact us for more information.
